Fabric Care Guide
Taking proper care of your fabrics ensures they stay beautiful and last longer. Follow these simple guidelines to keep your garments looking their best.
General Washing Tips
- Always check the care label before washing.
- Separate lights and darks to prevent colour bleeding.
- Use cold water for delicate fabrics and bright colours.
- Turn garments inside out to protect the outer surface.
Fabric-Specific Care
Cashmere

Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent, or dry clean. Never wring or twist — gently press out excess water and lay flat to dry. Store folded, not hung, to preserve its shape.
Cotton
Machine wash in warm water. Tumble dry on medium heat. Iron while slightly damp for best results.
Wool

Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle with cold water. Lay flat to dry — never hang, as this can stretch the fabric.
Silk
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, or dry clean. Avoid wringing — gently press out excess water and hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
Stain Removal
Treat stains as quickly as possible. Blot — don't rub — to avoid spreading. Use a stain remover appropriate for the fabric type and always test on a hidden area first.
Storage Tips
- Store clean garments to prevent stains from setting.
- Use breathable garment bags for delicate items.
- Fold knits instead of hanging to maintain their shape.
- Keep fabrics away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
